How Can You Get Your Prosperity Ball Rolling

It's little wonder that so few people are prospering these days and few are achieving the abundant, successful lives they desire. Over and over again, we see people chasing after the latest 'get rich quick' schemes. The problem here is that their thoughts and hearts need adjusted and focused on the true source of prosperity. There's a sucker born every minute. Don't be one of them. If your motives are purely selfish and only seeing dollar signs and 'what's in it for me', then you won't be seeing clearing and you'll easily be led off course. So get with the program. To prosper it is important to know that it is us working with God, the divine source and force of creative power. We must acknowledge the power of God working in us that is giving us the ability to achieve more and rise to higher levels. If we acknowledge God, then He'll direct our paths.Against all odds, there seems to be no limit to our possibilities and level of prosperity when we work with God. It is the great God force working with and through us that enables the 'impossible' to be accomplished. We see this in every invention that has helped the world along.Don't be fooled, no inventor can take personal credit for the vision which came to them ready made. Many inventors make comment that they regard themselves merely as a channel between God and the human race for the passing along of blessings that will benefit mankind."The Bible is not a book of rules, but a book of seeds." Creflo Dollar. Reference Luke 8:11 which says the parable is this: The seed is the word of God.The simple fact of the matter is this: God wants to bring abundant overflow in your life so you can be blessed to be a blessing. Get your thoughts and heart focused on the word of God. The seeds you plant in your life from the word of God have the creative power to produce growing prosperity and a full abundant life for you and those around you!

AfriChristian Commentary Oh God - Gimme Da Money

But don't let even a hint of ... greed exist among you, as is proper for saints?" (Ephesians 5:3)Recently, I searched the AOL Black Voices website and came across an article by Angela Bronner titled "The Gospel of Prosperity: Does Wealth Mean You're Blessed?" It explored the debate raging in the Christian community over whether God wants Christians to be materially wealthy, or at least financially well off.Bonner quoted a "Blender" magazine statement by wealthy hip-hop soul singer Mary J. Blige: "My God is a God who wants me to have things. He wants me to bling. He wants me to be the hottest thing on the block." Bonner says Blige is a "born-again Christian." Bonner also quotes black televangelist Creflo Dollar, whose famous sound bite is "To be broke means you lack." She lists a few of Dollar's exorbitantly rich credentials:"His World Changers megachurch, founded in Atlanta in 1986, now has over 25,000 members with an annual operating budget of over $80 million," she writes. "Dollar, who has a multi-million dollar mansion in Atlanta and two Rolls Royces, flies on his private jet every Saturday to New York City, where in October 2004, he started a congregation. He owns a $2.5 million Manhattan apartment in the exclusive Time Warner Center, and collects over $345,000 a month for the New York church."Dollar is a proponent of prosperity theology. (I'm not sure about Blige, but I do get the feeling she's a fan of some kind of prosperity gospel.) Prosperity theology advocates believe that God wants his people to financially and materially prosper and that a Christian who is not prosperous lacks the favor of God.Other promoters of prosperity theology include popular black televangelist Frederick K. C. Price, pastor of Crenshaw Christian Center in Los Angeles, and Joel Osteen, pastor of Lakewood Church in Houston, which according to some surveys is the largest church in the United States. Some critics denounce prosperity theology as an unbiblical, mean-spirited, diabolical menace, a costume worn by the greedy to camouflage their greed. But to be fair, some prosperity theology proponents insist that their belief includes moral and spiritual prosperity as well, which is in line with Psalm 1:3 where "prospers" seems to encompass the material and immaterial. But there is a facet of the system which makes that claim seem menial at best. Prosperity theology emphasizes that if you are rich you're blessed; but that if you are poor you're cursed - or you're not as blessed as fully as one who's rich. In other words, for Christians, God's blessing on the rich sings the melody of favoritism, while the curse on the poor scripts a melodrama of sadness. From prosperity theology's perspective, moving a Christian from poverty to wealth is one of the reasons for the corporation of heaven's existence. Through tithing, obedience and other means, God ensures the poor of eventual financial and material wealth - at least that's what prosperity theology advocates assure us.A balanced view of scripture writes a memorandum with a different outlook. Scripture teaches that if Christians are rich they might be blessed by God, but if they are poor they may also be blessed by God. That's why a few days or weeks after Christ's resurrection "There was no one in the group who was in need. Those who owned fields or houses would sell them, bring the money received from the sale, and turn it over to the apostles; and the money was distributed according to the needs of the people." (Acts 4:34-35)What a rich instance of rich Christians loving poor Christians! What an indictment against prosperity theology!Prosperity theology, however, ignores such noble deeds, claiming they are no longer charitable or economic models, because they are socialistic or apply only to biblical times.Prosperity theology has, in essence, turned scripture against scripture. Verses now fight each other ruthlessly. They wrestle for influence over innocent minds. But the fighters are not evenly matched. Prosperity theology verses are superheavyweights, while non-prosperity theology verses are lightweights. That is, prosperity theology is fat and overweight with verses that emphasize prosperity, while the slimmer, more agile non-prosperity theology verses must move delicately to avoid being pinned. Moreover, prosperity theology hires greed and materialism to manage and train his fighters. He changes greed's name to "Blessing" and materialism's to "No Shame." He gives his fighters the nickname "God's Wealth."But balance is the key. To adore and abhor the same truths, to grin and frown at the same facts, to both love and hate material wealth is the heart of true Christianity. Hence, though Proverbs says "Be generous and you will be prosperous." (Proverbs 11:25), we're also warned not to "love the world or the things in the world." (I John 2:15). And though we're told "King Solomon was richer ... than any other king." (I Kings 10:23), Christ warns us not to "store up riches for [ourselves] here on earth, where moths and rust destroy, and robbers break in and steal." (Matthew 6:19).Prosperity is deadly when it is ungodly. Happy are those who carry it in their hip pocket. Thus, if you yearn for wealth, you stand between an earthquake and a volcano. To keep the earthquake from hitting and the volcano from erupting, rise to the atmosphere of humility. If God gives you wealth, give as much as is reasonable away. If you don't have wealth, be thankful for the wealth you already have. The gospel of wealth is not the Gospel of Christ; the gospel of prosperity theology is not the Gospel of true Christianity. Scripture is no more the dog of prosperity theology than prosperity theology is the daughter of scripture.

Are You Ready to Take the 8 Steps to Having the Life You Want

So what is your greatest fear in life? What do you feel you are missing?I can honestly say that my greatest fear was of being homeless. I know what it's like to be homeless, and it's an awful situation to be in.The problem though is that in many ways I believe I set myself up for this. I don't mean to sound harsh, but sometimes we can take actions based on how we think that will cause the things we fear to happen. You can avoid giving into your fears and achieve the life you want if follow the steps Creflo Dollar has outlined in "8 Steps to Create the Life You Want."One of the most important things I learned from reading this book is the importance of scripture and reading and studying scripture on a daily basis. One of the reasons scripture is so effective is that you can use it to reprogram your mind in a positive way. Also, you discover that fear and faith can't exist in the same space. If you have faith, you won't have fear, and it will change the way you think for the better. You won't fall prey to emotional thinking, which can too easily sabotage any efforts you take to succeed. It really is that simple. It is unfortunate that too many churches don't emphasize how important scripture is. I think it's the reason so many churches are falling apart and dying. It's also the reason why so many Christians are failing in life, and they fail at a rate that is the same or higher as non believers (Divorce, finances, disease, etc). There's more. Here are the eight steps:1. Revolutionize Your Words

2. Overhaul Your Thinking

3. Take Charge of Your Emotions

4. Make Powerful Decisions

5. Evaluate Your Actions

6. Establish Healthy Habits

7. Develop Godly Character

8. Embrace Your DestinyI didn't just read this book. I looked at the steps and started taking the steps that I wasn't taking already. Now I am seeing growth in every area of my life: financial, physical, spiritual, and mental. Things that used to bother me don't bother me anymore. My bills are getting paid, I have extra money to spend, and for the first time in a long time, I'm enjoying my life, and it just keeps getting better and better. Life is just so good, and I believe that I will fulfill my God given destiny. A destiny that is even more incredible than I can ever imagine. Now understand that this is the result of reading the Bible and following Jesus Christ. If you want the type of life Jesus was talking about though, one of abundance, happiness, and just pure unadulterated joy, thenr read this book. Follow what it says. It will change your life, and it will blow you away at how wonderful your life really is. You'll achieve abundance and prosperity in EVERY area of your life. There are a lot of great books out there that will teach you how to live a satisfying Christian life. This book will take you to the next level and beyond. A must read and one of the top 15 most influential books I have ever studied and read. You definitely do not want to miss this book.

Christ Calls Pentecostals to Battle

This is a message from Jesus Christ to Pentecostal Churches. -œI am the one who has the sharp two-edged sword. I know where you live, there in those cities where Satan has spread his reign. You are true to me, but I have these things against you. There are some among you who follow the teachings of those prosperity preachers who have thought My Followers to live for themselves and not for Me. You have not shown the courage to stand against these false teachers and now I command you to turn from your sins and take up My two-edged sword and fight against those people that lead My Followers astray. To those who win the victory I will give some of the bread of My body and I will also give each of them a white stone with their new heavenly name known only to those who receive it. I challenge you to shed your sin soiled clothes, to put on My White Linens, to join the Armies of Heaven, and to help me restore My Church. If you have ears, then, listen to what the Spirit says to the churches.- The Prosperity Gospel traces it's roots to EW Kenyon and the Word of Faith movement. Contrary to the traditional view of Jesus as a poor, wandering teacher, the prosperity theology followed by the Word of Faith movement believes that Jesus and His Apostles were financially wealthy, owning homes, and having monetary resources and businesses. Under the truest doctrine of the Prosperity Gospel, they believe that if someone is not experiencing prosperity it is because they have given control of their life to Satan. Following Kenyon, Kenneth Hagin took up the mantel of prosperity theology and taught that -œmaterial prosperity was a redemptive blessing.- Some of the more prominent disciples of Hagin and the Prosperity Gospel include Creflo Dollar, Kenneth Copland, Joyce Meyer, Benny Hinn, and Joel Osteen. In his later years, Hagin turned against the Prosperity Gospel and warned Christ's followers about the darkness of greed. In receiving this message from Jesus Christ, I was surprised when He used the word -œcommand.- For in this message, Christ is stepping out in front of the Armies of Heaven and commanding the Pentecostal Churches, as well as all other Christian Churches, to go to battle against the thousands of Prosperity Preachers who fill the pulpits of His Churches. In His original letter to the church at Pergamum, Christ said that He would battle against them. Now, He has commanded His Followers to wield His two-edged sword and fight against the Prosperity Preachers and the dark forces of greed. In the United States, greed is essential to the American Dream and our Capitalistic Society and, in my opinion, Christians in the US will not follow Christ's Command. For we are a nation that lives and dies by the dollar with a long history of following the path of greed, even to our destruction, and of ignoring the faithful and true Word of God. Jesus Christ is now calling Christians everywhere to experience Spiritual Birth, to store up Heavenly Riches, to live a Divine Spiritual Life, to join the Armies of Heaven, to fight for Church Reform, and to prepare the church for His Second Coming. John Meacham is a Christian Author and Prophet for Jesus Christ who has authored four Christian books and served Christ's Church as a Pastor, Preacher, Workshop Leader, Bible Study Instructor, and Teacher ( www.johnmeacham.tateauthor.com ).

Fifth Step on the Walk to Faith - God TV

Christian TV broadcasting arouses all sorts of sentiments both from within the church and outside. Some people can't stop watching it, others think it's manipulative and profiteering. The best thing to do is to make your own mind up. I have been through the full cycle from being glued to it on a daily basis, hanging onto every word of my favourite preachers, Joyce Meyers, Creflo Dollar, Ken Copeland, and many others, to not being able to watch it at all because of the incessant advertising and self-promotion which I found distasteful. Some people think they express extreme right wing views.Whatever your think about the ethical standards or political beliefs of the producers of these programmers there is no doubt in my mind that you can only benefit from the lessons broadcasted. The preachers featured on these shows know their faith, know the Bible, and know God. Some would say that's good enough recommendation! And just maybe, the reason many of them have been blessed with wealth is because of their righteousness and their willingness to do God's work no matter what.My own personal testimony is that I have without doubt being healed as a result of watching God Tv and in particular the 700 Club presented by Pat Robertson. I was living in Scotland at the time, the other side of the world as far as the 700 Club is concerned, and was watching the programme while I was unemployed at around 2 in the afternoon. I had been suffering with bad arthritic pain in both hands, beginning from the little fingers and creeping across, and had been anxious about losing the ability to type. A nightmare prospect for a writer! There are 3 reasons which make me absolutely certain that it was a faith healing I experienced:1. The show features a "word of knowledge" section where the presenters receive knowledge of a particular healing and describe it on camera. I think it was Pat Robertson's son who began. He indicated the edges of his hands, the little finger side, and said someone was being healed.2. At that moment I felt intense heat in my hands. It was a moment or two before I realised the pain had gone. The thought dawned on me that I had been healed by divine intervention.3. As a final affirmation, Mr Robertson finished the show by saying: "This goes out to all of you, God Bless You, even you out there in Scotland!" I was gob-smacked. Why would he say that? Why Scotland? I had never heard him mention Scotland in that way before despite having watched hundreds of these programmes. Miracle or coincidence? I knew.So watch God TV and wait for a miracle to happen. If you are praying, reading your Bible, and sincere in your faith, something will occur. When it does, you will be fired with belief, and well on your way to completing the most amazing journey of your life. Next step, a word on prayer.

How to Create Endless Streams of Income Through the Power of the Tongue

All that you ever desire in life including everlasting wealth can become yours depending on the words with which you express yourself. Words have the power to induce laughter, tears, or create unlimited income stream.

Words can make you a millionaire overnight depending on how it is used. When words are spoken, the added factor of voice vocalization, emphasis and emotion gives it more potential to make impact. This may sound strange, but the fact remains that few individuals have been able to exploit the hidden wealth in the spoken word, thus helping themselves to obscene wealth and endless income streams. These individuals include: motivational speaker, stand up comedians and musical artiste. They have fully utilized the creative power of the tongue to create an endless income stream even as they go about enjoying themselves and making people happy.Their tongues are not just ordinary tongues, but tongues laced with wisdom, power and uncommon knowledge. They are so hot in demand, that some have the luxury of canceling engagement or shows. These wealthy individuals were able to discover the unique gift embedded in their tongues, and made maximum impact with it. Brian Tracy, Stephen Covey, Robert Kiyosaki, Donald Trump, Napoleon Hill, Mark Victor Hansen, Creflo Dollar, TD Jakes, David Oyedepo, Myles Munroe,Kenneth Copeland, Kenneth Hagin, Norman Vincent Peale and Robert Allen are just few of the individuals making exploits and using their gifted tongues to create endless income streams.Stand up comedians were never taken seriously some years back, and many were even branded as lazy and psychologically deranged. Their fortunes have however changed positively over the past 20 years, as they have become highly sought after. Their stock in trade is their witty tongues and the ability to make others laugh. What about the musicians who have continued to uplift the hearts of men, women and even children with sonorous songs. They have won for themselves Grammy Awards, Dove Awards and international accolades. The albums of some these renowned artistes have sold out more than a million copies in the music market, and they have left their foot print in the sand of history. Their rise to fame and wealth was a function of their discovering the hidden gift in their tongue. There is a hidden wealth that may be lying within you, fallow and unproductive.

Others may be able to identify that hidden gift or talent in you and save you from living a miserable and wretched life, but it is the individuals responsibility to identify God's hidden wealth in his/her life.I strongly believe that every individual has a little deposit of gold-mine in his/her tongue, right from childhood. The difference lies in the proportion of deposits and the ability to use the little God has deposited. Lack of usage may eventually lead to total loss of such gifts.Whatever gift lying inside of you, remember this: "You can achieve an endless income stream, as long as you make maximum use of that gift or talent"
